Mission
Services at the Port of St. John's are integral to the business strategies of many Canadian companies and to the economic development of the region. Our mission is "to provide reliable, economic and efficient port services for the purposes of supporting Canadian trade, fostering regional economic development, and serving Newfoundland and Labrador's distribution requirements".
We achieve our mission by partnering with the private sector, governments, and other stakeholders in developing port infrastructure and services and promoting the use of facilities. The port conducts its business within a commercial framework. Revenues received from port customers are used to operate and improve our facilities and services. |
